Kisspeptin 10 mg reconstitution calculator
How much bac water for kisspeptin 10 mg?
There’s no single right amount: the water sets the strength, not how much kisspeptin is in the vial, so use the volume on your pharmacy’s instructions. For example, 1 mL makes 10 mg/mL and 2 mL makes 5 mg/mL; the table below shows what each volume means on a U-100 syringe.

What each volume makes
| Water | Strength | Each unit | 1 mg is |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL | 10 mg/mL | 100 mcg | 10 units |
| 2 mL | 5 mg/mL | 50 mcg | 20 units |
| 2.5 mL | 4 mg/mL | 40 mcg | 25 units |
Examples; use the volume on your pharmacy’s instructions. Units are on a U-100 syringe: 100 units = 1 mL.
About the 10 mg vial
Kisspeptin-10 or kisspeptin-54? Check the label
“Kisspeptin 10” can mean the peptide or the vial size. Kisspeptin-10 and kisspeptin-54 are different lengths of the same hormone that share the same final 10 amino acids, and they don’t last the same time in the blood: in mice, about 32 minutes for kisspeptin-54 and about 4 minutes for kisspeptin-10 (PLoS One, 2017). In men, kisspeptin-54 had a half-life of about 27.6 minutes (J Clin Endocrinol Metab, 2005). The FDA’s compounding safety entry names kisspeptin-10 specifically. This page works only with the mg on your label, so check which form and which amount it names before you enter it.
In the FDA's Category 2 since 2023
Kisspeptin isn’t approved by the FDA for any use, so no label sets a water volume or a strength. Kisspeptin-10 has been in Category 2 of the FDA’s 503A compounding policy since September 29, 2023, and was still there in the May 14, 2026 update (FDA, FDA). The FDA’s reasons: compounded kisspeptin-10 “may pose risk for immunogenicity” and may have “complexities with regard to peptide-related impurities and API characterization,” and the agency has “no, or only limited, safety-related information” for the proposed routes. Kisspeptin isn’t on the agenda of the FDA’s next compounding advisory committee meeting (FDA).
Human studies gave it in clinics, mostly as infusions
The published human research gave kisspeptin in study clinics, mostly as timed infusions: a 90-minute intravenous infusion of kisspeptin-54 in six men (J Clin Endocrinol Metab, 2005), 75-minute intravenous infusions in trials of men and of women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder (JAMA Netw Open, 2023, JAMA Netw Open, 2022), and subcutaneous infusions of kisspeptin-10 in 15 healthy men (Eur J Endocrinol, 2026). One exception: an IVF study gave 53 women a single subcutaneous injection of kisspeptin-54 to trigger egg maturation (J Clin Invest, 2014). In the kisspeptin-10 study, after 5 days of round-the-clock kisspeptin-10, LH and FSH were back at placebo levels, although testosterone stayed raised. These are research findings about how the body responds, not a pattern to copy.
A 5 mg vial is half the strength at the same water
If your vial is 5 mg, the same water makes it half as strong as this one. With 2 mL, a 10 mg vial is 5 mg/mL (50 mcg per unit) and a 5 mg vial is 2.5 mg/mL (25 mcg per unit), so the same syringe reading holds half as much. Matching strengths takes half the water: 5 mg in 1 mL and 10 mg in 2 mL are both 5 mg/mL. Units worked out for one vial size don’t carry over to the other, so enter your own vial size and water in the reconstitution calculator.

About kisspeptin
US regulatory status
Compounding restricted
Kisspeptin is not approved by the FDA for any use. Kisspeptin-10 has been in Category 2 of the FDA’s 503A compounding policy since September 29, 2023, because of possible immune reactions, impurities and limited safety data, and it remained there in the FDA’s May 14, 2026 update. It is not among the substances on the agenda of the FDA’s next compounding advisory committee meeting.

How this kisspeptin calculator works
This kisspeptin reconstitution calculator starts from the 10 mg in your vial. Add the water you mix it with and the dose your prescriber gave you; it divides the mg by the mL to get the strength, then turns your dose into mL and units on a 30, 50 or 100-unit syringe.
Peptinote never suggests a dose or a water volume. The example volumes are there to make the math easy to check, not as advice. For the full method, see the peptide calculator.
Questions people ask
How do I reconstitute kisspeptin 10 mg?
Wipe both stoppers with alcohol and let them dry. Draw the volume of bacteriostatic water your pharmacy specifies into a new syringe, add it slowly down the inside of the vial, then swirl gently until clear; don’t shake. Label it with the strength: 10 mg in 1 mL is 10 mg/mL. Full steps: how to reconstitute peptides.
What are the steps to reconstitute kisspeptin?
Mixing your kisspeptin 10 mg vial takes the bacteriostatic water your pharmacy specifies and a new sterile syringe. Add the water slowly against the glass and swirl, never shake, until the liquid is clear. If it stays cloudy or has particles, don’t use it; call your pharmacy. Then write the strength and date on the vial and store it as the label says (how to store peptides).
Is there a peptide calculator for kisspeptin?
This page is the kisspeptin 10 mg reconstitution calculator. Enter the water you add (or tap an example volume) and your prescribed dose, and it shows the units to draw on a 30, 50 or 100-unit syringe, the strength, and the doses in the vial, with every step of the math. It never suggests a dose.
How much bac water for a 10 mg kisspeptin vial?
There’s no single right amount: use the volume on your pharmacy’s instructions. The water only sets the strength; the vial still holds 10 mg however much you add. With 1 mL it’s 10 mg/mL (100 mcg per unit), with 2 mL 5 mg/mL (50 mcg per unit) and with 2.5 mL 4 mg/mL (40 mcg per unit). Enter your volume and prescribed dose above to get the units. This product isn’t FDA-approved, so no official label sets a water volume and its contents aren’t verified.
How much bac water for kisspeptin 10?
Whatever volume you add, only the strength changes; the vial still holds 10 mg. More water spreads it out, so each unit holds less and the same dose takes more units: easier to measure, but more liquid to inject. Going from 1 mL to 2.5 mL takes each unit from 100 mcg to 40 mcg. Check the volume on your pharmacy’s instructions first. This product isn’t FDA-approved, so no official label sets a water volume and its contents aren’t verified.
Can Peptinote tell me how many units to take?
No. Peptinote never suggests a dose. Enter the dose your prescriber gave you, and the calculator shows how to measure it: the units, the mL and where the line sits on your syringe, with every step of the math. If you aren’t sure what your dose is, ask your prescriber or pharmacist before drawing anything. How our calculator works.
