Epitalon 50 mg reconstitution calculator

How much bac water for epitalon 50 mg?

There’s no single right amount: the water sets the strength, not how much epitalon is in the vial, so use the volume on your pharmacy’s instructions. For example, 2 mL makes 25 mg/mL and 2.5 mL makes 20 mg/mL; the table below shows what each volume means on a U-100 syringe.

5 mL needs a vial that holds at least that much. Check the size printed on your vial, in mL, before adding water (how much water a vial can hold).

About the 50 mg vial

Five times the strength of the 10 mg vial at the same water

The same water makes this vial five times as concentrated as the 10 mg vial. With 2 mL, the 50 mg vial is 25 mg/mL (250 mcg per unit) and the 10 mg vial is 5 mg/mL (50 mcg per unit), so the same syringe reading holds five times as much. With 5 mL this vial is 10 mg/mL (100 mcg per unit), the same strength as 10 mg in 1 mL. Units worked out for one vial size don’t carry over to the other: check the size printed on your vial, and recalculate whenever the vial size or the water changes.

Far stronger than the 3 mg/mL the FDA doubts water can reach

The FDA’s 2026 review says that, due to epitalon’s limited solubility in water, “it may not be possible to compound epitalon (free base) injection at 3 mg/mL using water as the solvent” (FDA). The examples here make 25, 20 and 10 mg/mL, about 3 to 8 times that figure. Bringing 50 mg down to 3 mg/mL would take about 16.7 mL of water (50 ÷ 3), so check that against what your vial can physically hold (how much water can a vial hold). The review gives no strength at which epitalon is known to dissolve fully in water. If powder is left or the liquid stays cloudy, don’t use it; ask a pharmacist.

More liquid to keep, and no set use-by date

A 50 mg vial holds five times what a 10 mg vial holds, so the same amount per draw takes five times as many draws and the mixed vial stays in use longer. The FDA’s 2026 review cites reports that, once mixed, epitalon (free base) “in solution should be stable for 2-7 days stored at 4°C and below -18°C for future use” (FDA). The report gives that figure without tying it to how much water is added, so don’t assume more water lengthens it; whatever the water, the vial holds the same 50 mg and the same number of doses. With no approved product, no official label sets a beyond-use date for a mixed vial. The calculator above shows how many doses of your amount the vial holds: count them against how long a mixed vial lasts before you add water, and ask a pharmacist. How this epitalon calculator works

This calculator starts from the 50 mg in your vial. Add the water you mix it with and the dose your prescriber gave you; it divides the mg by the mL to get the strength, then turns your dose into mL and units on a 30, 50 or 100-unit syringe.

Peptinote never suggests a dose or a water volume. The example volumes are there to make the math easy to check, not as advice. For the full method, see the peptide calculator.

Questions people ask

How much bac water for 50mg epitalon?

There’s no single right amount: use the volume on your pharmacy’s instructions. The water only sets the strength; the vial still holds 50 mg however much you add. With 2 mL it’s 25 mg/mL (250 mcg per unit), with 2.5 mL 20 mg/mL (200 mcg per unit) and with 5 mL 10 mg/mL (100 mcg per unit). Enter your volume and prescribed dose above to get the units. This product isn’t FDA-approved, so no official label sets a water volume and its contents aren’t verified.

How do I reconstitute epithalon 50 mg?

Wipe both stoppers with alcohol and let them dry. Draw the volume of bacteriostatic water your pharmacy specifies into a new syringe, add it slowly down the inside of the vial, then swirl gently until clear; don’t shake. Label it with the strength: 50 mg in 2 mL is 25 mg/mL. Full steps: how to reconstitute peptides.

Can Peptinote tell me how many units to take?

No. Peptinote never suggests a dose. Enter the dose your prescriber gave you, and the calculator shows how to measure it: the units, the mL and where the line sits on your syringe, with every step of the math. If you aren’t sure what your dose is, ask your prescriber or pharmacist before drawing anything. How our calculator works.
